Chairman’s Message
Dear Friends
Going down the memory lane, it reminds me of a decade of trials and tribulations which was dotted with more successes then failures. Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies was established in the year 2000 with the sole objective of not only imparting quality education, but also to shape our students in to good professionals, besides making them a responsible citizen of our country. The management has all through been fired with the Vision of Swami Vivekananda’s, which lays sufficient emphasis on “Man Making, Character Building and Nation Building.” His philosophy has been followed at this Institute over all these years in its letter and spirit.
To begin with VIPS had three courses to offer i.e five years of Integrated Law Degree , Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) and Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC). The Students of these streams have all through been a source of our strength and they have helped us in strengthening our resolve to stand by our ideals at all cost. From this year one more undergraduate courses , Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and two post graduation courses LLM, MCA approved by AICTE. All courses are affiliated to GGSIP University. I also take pride to announce the launch of our PGDBM Programme approved by AICTE being conducted by Delhi School of Business.
Today, VIPS as it has come to be known amongst our students and the community at large enters in to another year of pioneering service to the cause of Education. In the last ten years of its existence we have bagged total 10 Gold Medals, 3 Gold Medals in Law, another 4 Gold medals in BJMC and 3 Gold Medals in BCA. We still don’t call ourselves as a center of Excellence as many a Institution term themselves on a trumpet’s beat by launching a massive publicity campaign and through their self proclamations. VIPS stands ahead in promoting Sports, Co-Curricular and Extra Curricular Activities also.

Chairman: Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies
For us at VIPS there is still a long way to go for realizing our long cherished dream of being truly a world class Institution. We the management and our talented faculty have the determination and the will to lay our own benchmark for others to follow. The first step in this direction is our newly constructed building, which besides having centrally air conditioned class rooms has a well stocked Library including a digital library, Smart Board, well equipped labs and facilities for creating a Virtual Campus. An attractive food court has been created, which has become a favorite place for our students to hang out.
The Management of Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies owes its deep gratitude to its truly dedicated and highly qualified Faculty which has not only toiled hard to produce quality professionals but have also ensured that our students get 100% placement in their respective disciplines. Some of the Faculty members have been continuing ever since the inception of our Institute. In addition to that they have passionately pursued their Research. Faculty members have also got their papers published in National and International Journals of repute. Our heart felt thanks to the Support Staff / Admin Staff for their rigorous hard work and their devotion to duty.
Let me sound a word of Caution to the new and the old students that we here at VIPS have Zero Tolerance for Ragging and Management shall not hesitate in rusticating such students who indulge in gross Acts of indiscipline. Any student found to be vandalizing the property of the Institute shall be strictly dealt with.
Last but not the least, let me thank all those parents who have reposed their faith in the ideals that VIPS stands for and have got their wards admitted to this prestigious Institute. Dear Parents, let me assure you on behalf of the managements that we at VIPS shall do our very best to make your ward not only as a good professional but a responsible citizen of our Nation.
